Green smoothies are one of my favorite ways to enjoy organic fruits and veggies. When you drink smoothies, your body can easily digest all the nutrients with less energy and still get the benefit of the fiber. Keep it simple by blending just one or two fruits with fresh greens and a few of your favorite super foods. Mix it up. Don’t be afraid to experiment. Next time you have that 3PM cookie and latte craving try one of these great recipes instead.
Note: I’m not big on measuring but I did my best to give you amounts. Experiment with adding more or less of any ingredient based on your taste and consistency preferences.
